Craigavon Protestant Boys Flute Band

We are a loyalist marching band from the town of Lurgan which is approx 30 miles from Belfast. The main aim of this website is to promote our band, culture and protestant way of life on a wider arena and to disperse the pro-republican myth that if you are a member of a loyalist band or a member of any of the loyal orders then you must be a bigot. We have been welcomed to and paraded in towns all over Ulster and have a 20 year history of attending the adult demonstration in Scotland where we have made many good friends in the Falkirk and Broxburn areas.

In recent years the band has had to deal with many issues which threatened to close the door on our band but we rose above those threats. Formed in 1966 our name then is the same as it is to this present day and our style of music made us one of the first BLOOD AND THUNDER bands in the country if not the world. We hope you enjoy this site and if so come back on a regular basis and if possible attend our parade on Saturday the 6th May 2006 @ 19.30pm.
